The History of Egyptian fractions will be reported from two points of view. First, beginning with the oldest texts, Middle Kingdom Egyptian mathematics will be parsed. Second, the newest text, the Liber Abaci, will be parsed showing that Egyptian fraction arithmetic was continuously used for over 3,200 years.
